Less than a week ago Sophie Turner graced the front row at Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2020 show. Now, the Game of Thrones actor has joined a host of familiar faces – such as Zhong Chu Xi, Indya Moore, Chloë Grace Moretz and Signe Veitenerg – in fronting the French fashion house’s latest jewellery campaign.
Photographed by Craig McDean, the new B. Blossom fine jewellery collection – the first from the house’s new artistic director Francesca Amfitheatrof – centres on the star-shaped flower with the original monogram design created by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896 reimagined in the guise of a stylish, spherical stamp.
For both Moore and Zhong Chu Xi, it is the first time they have starred in a campaign for Louis Vuitton. Moore, who identifies as transgender and non-binary, is known for her role as Angel Evangelista in the TV show Pose. While, Chu Xi – who’s also an actor – has sat front row for the brand several times throughout her career.
Styled by Marie-Amélie Sauvé, all five women embody the essence of the brand wearing the B. Blossom pieces as a symbol of their independence and a reflection of their femininity. In the campaign images, the five women are surrounded by a muted colour palette of beige, black and gold, while adorned in the diamond rings, bracelets and necklaces.
It’s not the first time that Turner has worked closely with the jewellery section of the house. Last year, the label enlisted Turner to raise awareness and maximise the outreach of its #makeapromise campaign in collaboration with Unicef .
